October is Pedestrian Safety Month

Did you know October is Pedestrian Safety Month? Projects like the Downtown Streetscape Project, and the Stanford Road Trail Crossing, which connects the Henson Trail to the Clarks Run Trail, are designed with the safety of all road users, including pedestrians, in mind!  

Check out this video from Gresham Smith, who designed the new Downtown Danville Streetscape - helping the City of Danville reach its goal of being the safest, healthiest, pedestrian-friendly community in Central Kentucky.
