DPD Detective receives Law Enforcement Excellence Award

Danville Police Department's Detective Paul Megilligan was recently awarded the Law Enforcement Excellence Award by the United States Attorney's Office - Eastern District of Kentucky. Detective Megilligan receives this honor for his lengthy and thorough investigation, working with the Drug Enforcement Agency, which ultimately lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of a person who distributed Fentanyl locally, resulting in an overdose death.
